Customer Story In Fontana

Helping a loyal customer fix a tough plumbing problem

Problem:  When the toilets in the Shields' family home began to act out, they began looking for a contractor who could resolve the issue for them. The first plumber they hired had such poor communication skills that it was unclear what they were fixing, let alone how they intended to complete the repair. The Shields quickly realized after the plumber was gone that the problem hadn't been resolved. With no desire to call the same plumber again, they looked for another option. When they realized that the Burgeson's team had a plumbing division, they were ecstatic. They trusted Burgeson's and had been using their HVAC team for system repairs and replacements for over 20 years.

Solution: Mrs. Shields was very impressed with Jess A., the customer service representative, who was working when she called. Jess listened to Mrs. Shields intently and was very polite and helpful. Jess even called the Plumbing Supervisor to get information to help her determine what the technician needed to have when he arrived for the service call. One of Burgeson's plumbers, Eugene, arrived on time and immediately made Mrs. Shields feel comfortable with his politeness and professionalism. The two even joked together while Eugene went to work installing new toilets in the Shields' home. Eugene also discovered that the home's water pressure valve was 35 years old and contributing to the home's plumbing problems. He replaced the pressure valve and toilets in just one visit to the surprise of Mrs. Shields, who gave Burgeson's gold stars all around!
